I have this message going on over and over again in /var/log/messages. ,---- | Apr 1 11:32:50 soup init: can't exec getty '/usr/local/sbin/mgetty' \ | for port /dev/cuaa2: No such file or directory `---- The problem is that I first installed, and then uninstalled mgetty+sendfax port. So, for sure I don't have an mgetty binary where init is looking for it. The question is: Why is init looking for it, and how do I remedy the problem? p.s. Is it normal to have two `init' processes (appearing in `top')? One is with PID 1, as expected ;^), and the other one has a larger PID, which changes once every few seconds.
