I added a Mustek Paragon 600 II SP scanner to my SCSI bus.

System is a bit flaky since then. I got this ncr bus device reset
already twice since last reboot and I'm hurrying up typing to get this
message finished before the next occurance and eventual system freeze.
Any clues? Also why this probing of logical devices ?
