Hello, I'm getting the above error when trying to install FreeBSD on an HP AlphaSe= rver DS15 (1gig cpu, 512meg memory, 36gig hd, dvd/cdrom, no floppy) from cd= rom. another thread seemed to indicate it was a media problem, but the drive rea= ds fine from openVMS and the cdrom reads fine in my laptop. The boot looks something like this: quote: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------= ----- >>> boot dqa0 -FLAGS "-FILE" ...
