Hello,
I have a QTR-3 Travan floppy tape drive (ft*) on my machine (a 486 PC) and
the device (/dev/ft0) is there, the tapes retensions, rewinds, reads,
etc., but the "ft" program does not seems to work.
I tried with the "-current" version, but it's the same, I always have the
same error : "couldn't reqd heqder segment".
I found in the FAQ (section 7.4.) that I could configure the tape drive
with a generic config file, but I have NO such file installed on my
machine (2.2.5-REALEASE)...
Where could I find one or how to build one? (/sys is empty).
Anything could help me...
Thanks
Francis
