Well, not too fast I think - I haven't yet had the chance to read Andreas's little submission in detail (it's in my list of pending things to do) but it may well contain parts which are far superior to the mess that's currently there. I'm confident in saying that the current "how to do a port" document is trash since I wrote quite a bit of it! :-) I've wanted to redo it for some time.
