I have a Dell CPi with a Symbol Spectrum24 wireless card that keeps
locking up my system.
Here is my problem, I run "wicontrol -n 'myid'" works fine. wicontrol
shows it has associated fine with the Access Point. Now when I try and
use ifconfig the system just locks up.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dylan
My Setup:
4-7Stable - as of last night
/etc/pccard.conf - file
----------------------
card "Symbol Technologies" "LA4111 Spectrum24 Wireless LAN PC Card"
config 0x1 "wi" ?
# config auto "wi" ? # I tried both ways...
insert /etc/pccard_ether $device start
remove /etc/pccard_ether $device stop
-----------------------
The card is show by pccardd as:
wi0 at port 0x280-0x2c7 iomem 0xd4000-0xd43ff irq 11 slot 1 on pccard1
wi0: 802.11 address: 00:a0:f8:32:a8:79
wi0: using RF:PRISM2 MAC:HFA3841
wi0: Symbol Firmware: Primary 2.01.02, Station 2.51.08
