xscreensaver-gnome-4.24_6

Bug info: most GL screen savers terminate on signal 11. Some 'hang',
others will display 'torn' images in the preview window. non-GL screen
savers seem to function correctly. re-compiling xscreensaver-gnome
libgle and libglut does not appear to have any effect. 2 machines
affected equally, one with SiS video hardware using the sis driver, the
other with VIA video hardware and using the VESA driver. One machine is
running a recent kernel (see below); the other is running a kernel that
is about 2 months older. This problem did not appear until after
upgrading gnome and xorg.
