That is true, he is confused.  However, OS X also runs fine on older 
machines even though it is not supported.  Thanks to the open source 
Darwin core of OS X, people have hacked the drivers necessary to get 
these older machines to run OS X too.  I use a 9600 with 500mhz G3 
upgrade and Sonnet IDE adapter.
