And let me put this another way as well. Who's been maintaining the
VM system since Dyson left? ME. So I go and I formally make myself
the MAINTAINER of the VM system, now nobody is allowed to commit
to the VM system without my permission? That nobody can even *complain*
to core because core won't accept their claim unless the MAINTAINER
(i.e. me) agrees? Is that what you are saying? That core has no
interest in overriding any MAINTAINER? Or is just BDE you have no
interest in applying the rules to? How is core supposed to function
if it does not apply itself in an even-handed fashion but instead
operates as an old-boy's club?
