Running 4.0 snap 06/24 on a Toshiba 4005CDS

I've been noticing the output of dmesg has started to give a long
line of binary junk followed by three sets of boot messages.

Following a sort of crash and abrubt powerdown.

From my linux experience I've only seen dmesg produce one set of
messages.

Clear enough that the binary stuff doesn't belong there and is it
unusual for dmesg to give more than one set of messages?
