This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_001E_01C01F39.ADE755F0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable So far my machine boots, loads the pxeboot file from the tftp server and then goes on loading the kernel. The kernel initializations is still ok, but when coming to the place where it is supposed to mount its root filesystem it aborts with the following message: > no B_DEVMAGIC (bootdev=3D0x38a68) > > Manual root filesystem specification: ... Can anyone help me with what value the bootdev bootdev variable needs? I have passed the nfs servers ip as well as the=20 nfs root-path to the pxeboot via dhcp. Thanks for your help in advance.
