Dependency on alsalib has been added to jack http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/audio/jack/Makefile.diff?r1=1.54;r2=1.56 resulting in at least this fail. Considering alpha (or beta) status of alsa compat port, I'd prefer to disable alsa support in audio/jack, than to fix this port.
