https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=244460 Bug ID: 244460 Summary: x11-servers/xorg-server: Elantech touchpad stops working when hw.psm.elantech_support=1 Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: x11@FreeBSD.org Reporter: patovm04@gmail.com Assignee: x11@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(x11@FreeBSD.org) With Xorg 1.20.7 update and "kern.evdev.rcpt_mask" set to 6 or 12, my Elantech touchpad works just fine, but doesn't support any gestures, unlike before updating. "libinput list-devices" reports it just as "Generic PS/2 mouse". Then when I add "hw.psm.elantech_support=1" to /boot/loader.conf and reboot, touchpad becomes useless and doesn't move at all. Even though "libinput list-devices" now detects it as Elantech touchpad... Worth mentioning that setting "kern.evdev.rcpt_mask" back to 3 and enabling moused makes it work perfectly again, just like before the update. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.help
