Sorry, am I missing something ?
I can't see the necessity of forcing people to either
{ wait to get their CD, or ftp a set of mega large base deltas }
if they have old CTM baselines that are still serving well;
I for instance am still using these ancient bases:
src-cur.1900A.gz ports-cur.1200A.gz cvs-cur.1500A.gz gnats.0100A.gz
+ all subsequent deltas.
OK, they take a while to build, but its better than ftp'ing monster files,
& rebuilds are rare.
It'd be really nice if you just kept pumping out the deltas for now, please,
& after the CD's arrive, we can make up much smaller ctm to cd &/or cd
to ctm conversion tars or whatever the collective wisdom decides is needed.
I'm expecting a CD (not a rush, just a standard, & that across the Atlantic),
I have 4 gig spare right now, & a 200 5MMX 64 with mostly spare cycles,
so would be happy to help out generating stuff (I'm dial up though,
so after generating I'd upload to
{http://www.freebsd.org/~jhs/ &/or ftp/incoming}
to distribute it.)
