I've got a disk that I'd like to excercise in order to
see if it will reallocate marginal reads when
written to. Normally I'd just zero the thing,
destroy and toss it. But I feel like playing more.
Because the data is still semi valuable, I want to
read and write back every block of the disk.
Any tools that will do this?
Besides dd and shell math?

Also, as with SCSI drives and camcontrol,
is there a decent ATA mode page editor
out there? Even if on Windows.

Maybe this is more for the hardware list?
