Subject: Thought about the sysinstall scripts......

During the install, especially from a disk slightly out of date, would it
be possible to make the install scripts read the directory entries under
FreeBSD's root directory on whichever url the default comes up on and then
provide a list of what is there, at that time, to allow the user to select
an appropriate install tree, and then, if that is not acceptable, default
to current.freebsd.org or releng22.freebsd.org for an alternate. That would
get around the problem of old install disks not finding the correct or
current source trees, and perhaps save some headaches trying to find
the ``right'' url......

Just a thought.....
