It almost looks like it sees the PnP device (the sound card is the only one I have other than PCI devices; video card and scsi controller) but it can't configure the sound card. On bootup I see the following relevent messages: .... Probing for PnP devices: CSN 1 Vendor ID: CTL00e4 [0xe4008c0e] Serial 0x1d10fcdf .... .... sb_reset_dsp failed sb0 not found at 0x220 sb_reset_dsp failed sbxvi0 not found sbmidi0 not found at 0x330 awe0 at 0x620 on isa AWE32 not found opl0 not found at 0x388 ....
