The Click Modular Router is implemented in C++, I have occasionally pitched in with keeping it up to date and building on FreeBSD (although not for a few years now). Putting myself in the shoes of a third party developer, I can see that C++ compatibility would be important, so I hope a solution can be found here. Bruce
