Yes if it can't find it locally. > > How if i want to install pine using cdrom or floppy, > how do i get the software ? and what is the filename ? > If you installed off the WC CD-ROM distribution it should be on one of the disks (That's the way it was for me when I installed FBSD 3.2) IIRC you put the relevent disk in the drive and do "make install" It's been a while since I installed off a CD though.
