Hi, I installed freebsd on my computer the first time. I was using linux before it. And now Im having troubles to find out how to let the normal users mount and umount cds. I dont know where to look for such info, I tryed the handbook but it didnt helped me too much. Plus, I tryed to mount a music cd... I didnt know it doesnt have a "real" filesystem, when I tried to mount it the system crashed and I got some messages about sync and I had to reboot the computer, and somefiles on the hard drive were corrupted. Why does this happen? I thought it would be right to mount the music cd, cos I want to make an ISO image from it to burn a back up of and old Pearl Jam cd before it get too bad. thank you To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
