You can't screw up a make world, assuming the tree actually builds.
(Which 2.2.5R is guaranteed to do.)

No, that one definitely needs a backup.  But, if you need to repartition
your hard-drive, then update at the same time. :) :)

Hey, that's what I'm using now.  I'm not asking you to do anything I'm
not willing to do myself.  (My box is a 486/66 with 16MB of memory,
how's that for speedy. :)

Assuming the programs are the same (which they should be), then the boot
scripts should work fine, since the underlying programs didn't change in
terms of their behavior.
