Just do it.  The good thing about services such as the one you are 
proposing is that it doesn't need anyone's "approval".  If you think it's a 
good idea, do it.  People will use it.  [If a place can't be found within the 
FreeBSD pages, then I'll be quite happy to publish them on The 
FreeBSD Diary.]
