Hai, I've noticed that FreeBSD reserves UID's and GID's for specific applications and service-software. For example the UID for the MySQL daemon is 88 (if i'm not mistaken:)). I am using Postfix as MTA and I;ve tried to find a reserved UID and GID for the service, but I couldn't find it. My question: did FreeBSD reserved an UID and GID for the Postfix MTA? If not, maybe you can pick up this suggestion :) Jan-Tiddo To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
