And here I think it's the best thing Apple has ever done...

It still needs some work, but everyone knew that would be the case.

Apple is blending the Classic MacOS interface with OPENSTEP. I'd prefer 
to have it more NeXT-like, but it's pretty good as it is. Developers 
ought to like it too.
