FWIW, I started to get similar messages after upgrading SASL 1.5.24 to 
1.5.27. I'm using SASL for authenticating users to Cyrus IMAP server 
and I don't have Kerberos authentication enabled in any of the 
configuration files. I'm using sasldb authentication and it works fine.

To get rid of the messages, I just created empty /etc/srvtab
