Hi,

i've asked this question in newsgroup but without any definite response.
so here is the question:

i once read an article about subnetting which stated that subnet #0 is
available for use. this seems violate ip standards, however, i want to
know if this is possible (short of ip addresses) and where can i get 
further info.
