Ha! I figured it out. I had to do the bios update in the alpha bios and then type update fw -path srm_fw and it worked. Now I am booting Netbsd/Alpha.... Loading boot: unknown executable format Boot failed! Halting... halt code = 5 HALT instruction executed PC=20004040 >>>> Well, I am getting closer. Christopher J.
