After poking around the cc and gcc manpages, I noticed the "-O" option for optimization. I've now compiled a few items with that option and have noticed that: 1- It takes longer to compile (general resource hog. noticibly longer with -O3). 2- The binaries are larger (kernel size increased about %7) Is there any other downside?
