It looks like the ps binary was broken when copied in from the host environment (I have to do this because e.g. a suitably different kernel will cause the 'native' version of ps from the chroot environment will also not work due to the usual libkvm mismatches). Looks like this and netsaint-plugins indeed build when I fix this (and maybe some other ports). Thanks for tracking it down, and sorry for the mistake. If someone else can commit the backout, that would be great - I'm away from my cvs tree at the moment.
