I am closing this because lang/python38 has been removed from the ports tree.
The broader discussion about stdlib modules requiring external dependencies
(turtle/tkinter, etc.) was acknowledged by the maintainer (koobs@) as a design
issue, but it was left open as a "medium-term reminder" for Python 3.8
specifically. If this packaging question is still relevant for current Python
versions, a new bug should be filed.
