The sysctl is the only path that polls the relevant MSR.  Arguably the printed
output is not especially useful and perhaps something should poll the MSR in
the background.

Either way, if you're regularly hitting 95°C something is very wrong with the
cooling in the system, I'd really encourage investigating that.
