I recently discovered that Shift Insert pastes copied text into
a Putty terminal, whereas Ctrl v doesn't.  Probably widely known;
as is that text selected with the mouse in a FreeBSD terminal (ssh)
connection overwrites the windows (95) cut/coppy thing.
