How does JDK 1.2 fare? > I used the instructions referenced at www.freebsd.org/java. The startup script did not work for me, I needed to modify it slightly. After that a couple fairly complex apps I tried (Dnd, Sockets etc) worked without a problem. The fonts look hideous though.
