>Description:
ok I lost my drive with this one and with lack of help from people on irc (I figured they could telnet in and see the problem first hand)..like maybe one of you programmers were around.
anyways I was using netscape communicator don't remember if it was installed from ports or ftp.netscape.com it would have been one of the latest 4.6 or 4.7 versions.
something in the javascript on the site www.power92.com triggered an endless loop.. it sucked up all the ram...eventually filled the swap from my guess. after about 15 min of trying to get someone to look at the problem first hand (I could have rebooted anytime and saved the problem)
I couldn't kill -9 the application...it just didn't do anything and kept sucking up the resources
finally I froze...even ctrl+alt+del did nothing. I forced a reboot and upon loading most of the programs exited with signal11 or signal15
as well as logging in didn't work...just exited with an error and gave me another login prompt.
with lack of interest from anyone I could find I deleted the system and forgot about the core files.
I believe I can recreate this bug if anyone is interested. most of the time I just reboot when it happens.
and yes I am fully aware of how to kill a prgram I'm not newbie. been using freebsd for over a year.
just let me know if your interested and I'll do whatever you need.
>How-To-Repeat:
I'd guess subject netscape to sites using a lot of java/javascript such as www.power92.com
also goto www.bolt.com with netscape you'll notice a second bug immediately.
I could theorize about an endless loop .c file...however I'm not a c++ programmer.

don't know
