https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D210436 Bug ID: 210436 Summary: vt(4) boot time default console driver selection not working Product: Base System Version: 11.0-CURRENT Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Keywords: vt Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: joeb1@a1poweruser.com The vt manual says this under the kern.vty heading, Set this value to 'vt' or 'sc' to override the default driver used for the system console. BY default, sc(4) is used on computers that boot from BIOS,= and vt is used on computers that boot from UEFI. MY old DELL desktop boots from BIOS but yet I get vt graph mode auto select= ed. According to the vt manual this should not happen. Tested on 11.0-ALPHA4. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
