I fixed this by updating my pkgtools.conf file. Nothing else worked
for me. Though this might have worked in addition to the usuals (i.e.
rm -f /var/db/pkg/pkgdb.db
rm -f /usr/ports/INDEX*
portsdb -Uu
pkgdb -fu
