First of all, there shouldn't be any 40G drivers in GENERIC, that's just
absurd. Even 10Gig drivers are maybe borderline. And yes, intel cards are m=
uch
more pervasive than MLNX and don't require a compatibility layer to work.

If you read the post you'll see that automatic loading support has to be ad=
ded
on a driver by driver basis. So I'd suggest pushing for automatic loading
support and provide a patch for mlxen.
