Run pkg_libchk from sysutils/bsdadminscripts to make sure something 
isn't missing.

Run dbus and hal to see if it makes a difference.

Rebuild xorg-server and drivers.

Other than that... rebuild xorg-server with debug symbols, then crash it 
and get a backtrace.
