this would be "SLASH kernel"
e.g. /kernel

the boot blocks were unable to find the kernel..
this may be a symptom of a mis-partitionned disk, or many other
things..

where do you live,? (or him for that matter)


It may be quickest to thing for someone nearby to talk him
through it on the phone....

this tells us only how much memory he has.. (32MB)
someone needs to be able to have a direct discussion with him.
