have checked the sylpheed FAQ at their site and not sure where else to ask. hopefully some user can help. have been using kmail under kde. want to try sylpheed under fluxbox. when i start sylpheed i get a message. "First, you have to set the location of mailbox you can use the existing mailbox in MH format if you have one. If you're not sure, just select OK." not being sure i hit OK and get. "Error Creation of the mailbox failed. Maybe some files exist, or you don't have the permission to write there." i'm logged in as root (i know, bad form but i'm trying to keep things simple for now). when i try to create a new box it doesn't give me an error but nothing appears in that pane either. thanks for all help Dave To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
