I came across problem with one of my boxes when upgrading to 4.4 . This is
not a 4.4 issue as the same installworld worked on several other boxes.

Since installworld'ing on one of my boxes on boot it cant find
/boot/loader or the kernel.

It does the DMI check, the "little twirly" thing spins twice, then comes
up unable to find /boot/loader. At the boot: prompt i can
0:da(0,a)/boot/loader and then the box starts up fine.

So far I've redone disklabel, then I cd /usr/src/sys/boot && make clean &&
make && make install. Still to no joy.

I'm totally at a loss as to what I did wrong with this installworld.
