I am running 4.1 stable on a PC. Today, I telneted to a host(HP-UX 11.00) on the same sub-net using xterm. Then, I issued a command 'cat a.out'. the whole X11 becomes very solw and xterm did not response any more. the console said (I think from the kernel because it's highlighted) xl0: no memory for rx list -- packet dropped! The string repeated at a rate about once per second. I do not know how to deal with it and reboot the PC. Then I play the trick again, the same thing happened! Why? (would you try this and see if it happens everywhere) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
