I do not use Windows for mission-critical applications. These 
days, I primarily use it as a GUI for BSD. I would prefer not
to use it even for that, but because KDE and GNOME are both GPLed, 
it is the best alternative. Perhaps MacOS 10.1 will change that.

You're very wrong. The GPL is a great threat to standardization,
to consumer choice, and to the BSDs and their philosophy.

By using or developing GPLed software, you are supporting an agenda 
that is designed to hurt programmers and consumers for the sake of 
one man's petty vendetta. Do not do that. It is unethical and contrary 
to the philosophy of BSD.
