no, and he stuck it to me afterwards..
I really should have.. I was just too preoccupied with
the KSE commit  which was suddenly held up on this new
code using "don't use me" fields.

the choices were.
commit KSE and geom breaks
commit KSE and fix geom to not use a field that is no longer there.
contact phk and wait while he fixes geom and in the meanwhile
twiddle thumbs while I have to re-run all thebuildworld tests and
re-integrate all new changes in -current to KSE.

I COULD have commited it as part of the KSE commit.

that would have covered me as I had a mandate to do that and teh patched
have been sitting around for 'ever' for him to look at.
bit it was a last minute 'surprise' code change from him
that used teh very field that the whole KSE-III commit is written
to remove..

basically he said 
Find the thread from it's offset within the proc.
in M-III the thread is no longer in the proc.
