: Remember that PARCPlace reimplemented a Motif library which OSF refused
: to allow them to certify.

The OI group at Solbourne did this work, they were bought by ParcPlace
and later sold to Openware.

OSF didn't have a procedure to certify only the look and feel of a
toolkit. All of their certification process was geared at the API
level and they told us they had no plans to change that policy. I'm
convinced that the only way to get certified is to use their toolkit
and have your port certified. OI, as you'll recall, was a C++ library
that didn't use Xt at all, nor the horrible, icky, aweful Motif API.
