Well, for one thing, they bought Whistle.

In general, they're doing what a lot of high-profile companies (including 
Intel, Maxtor, etc.) are doing: Touting support of Linux in a high-profile 
way, while using BSD UNIX as a "secret weapon," behind the scenes, in 
embedded work.
