alright, heres an oddity. I wanted to peruse the ports in sysinstall cause I am lazy and it gives me a description of each port as I put the cursor over it. However, with every possible ftp mirror site and with the primary site, I get the following: +---------------- User Confirmation Requested ----------------+ ¦ Warning: Can't CD to `4.1-STABLE' distribution on this ¦ ¦ FTP server. You may need to visit a different server for ¦ ¦ the release you're trying to fetch or go to the Options ¦ ¦ menu and to set the release name to explicitly match what's ¦ ¦ available on ftp2.freebsd.org (or set to "none"). ¦ ¦ ¦ ¦ Would you like to select another FTP server? ¦ +-------------------------------------------------------------¦ ¦ [ Yes ] No ¦ +-------------------------------------------------------------+ Anyone know what might be going on here? is it the ftp server, or is it my sysinstall wanking?
