I already tried running gmake and this is what I got:

Making all in src
gmake[2]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/tar-1.13.17/src'
gmake[2]: *** No rule to make target `../lib/fnmatch.h', needed by 
`buffer.o'.  Stop.
gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/tar-1.13.17/src'
gmake[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/tar-1.13.17'
gmake: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

Any other thoughts?
