Yes it has, follow links from www.linmodems.org to Richard Close and
Pavel Macheks driver, I managed to get it partially working on FreeBSD and I
may go back to it at some point (when time and inclination coincide). You will
also find links to Fabrice Bellards work on producing a completely soft modem
which even works on solaris.
