[-- Attachment #1 --] Hello, I have tried installing FreeBSD4.2 on a P100. Intsllation goes fine without errors, then when I try to boot up the computer, it says "Read Error", and freezes there. The computer is a P100 Hewlett Packard Vectra, Series 4, and the hard drive is a Quantum FireBall series 3.5. Any information you can give me on the cause of this problem and/or a solution would be more than great. thanks, -james [-- Attachment #2 --] <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" http-equiv=Content-Type> <META content="MSHTML 5.00.2314.1000" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=2>Hello,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>I have tried installing FreeBSD4.2 on a P100.
